Constitutional & Parliamentary Affairs
The Constitutional and Parliamentary Affairs Department is responsible for facilitating and promoting the implementation of the Constiution of Zimbabwe as well as enhancing Government business in Parliament.
Functions
- The administration and promotion of the Constitution and the co-ordination of Parliamentary activities;
- The co-ordination of the legislative alignment process of the Constitution;
- The facilitation of printing and distributing the Constitution countrywide;
- The conducting of advocacy meetings with the aim of ensuring Constitutional awareness amongst the Zimbabwean citizenry; and
- The facilitation and co-ordination of the translation of the Constitution into vernacular languages.
