ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE DIVISION

Departmental Mission Statement

To provide personnel, financial and administrative services to line Departments thus enabling them to attain their objectives.

Division undertakes to:

  • Ensure timeous payments ot Government creditors by submitting payment vouchers to Central Payments Office twice per month in time for the mid-month-end runs after receiving the invoices.
  • Attend to telephone calls promptly and courteously within three rings.
  • Acknowledge receipt of correspondence within five working days.
  • Attend to members of the public and staff calling in person courteously and timeously within two minutes.

Queries or Complaints relating to the delivery ot the above services should be directed to the Deputy Secretary (Admin/Finance). If the query or complaint cannot be adequately dealt with by the Deputy Secretary, then it should be taken up with the Permanent Secretary.
